Salary: $2,800 – $3,000 per month
What you’ll be doing
- Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimise stock shortages and surpluses
- Oversee the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures
- Assist in performing deliveries when required
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address any logistical issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics-related activities, including shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the logistics operations
- Provide training and support to the logistics team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or warehousing industry
- Class 3 Driver license and Forklift license required
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, warehousing practices, and transportation logistics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Experience in supervising and leading a team, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop staff
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
- Proficient in using logistics management software and other relevant technology
