Finance Executive

Location: Bras Basah, Central Region

Salary: $35 – $40

We are looking for a meticulous and service-oriented Finance Executive to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting financial operations, including processing trainee refunds, preparing month-end journal entries, and maintaining finance systems to ensure smooth and compliant financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Refund Processing

• Handle refund requests from students, corporate clients, and training partners.

• Verify refund eligibility and ensure accurate documentation.

• Process refunds in accordance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

• Liaise with customer service and programme teams to resolve discrepancies.

Month-End Closing

• Prepare and post journal entries related to training revenue, deferred income, and operational expenses.

• Assist in reconciling accounts such as receivables, training grants, and vendor payments.

• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and audit schedules.

Finance Systems Maintenance

• Maintain and update data within ERP systems.

• Assist in system enhancements, testing, and user training.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure financial processes comply with funding requirements (e.g., SkillsFuture, government grants).

• Support internal and external audits by preparing relevant documentation.

• Maintain proper records for audit trails and financial reporting

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

• 1–3 years of experience in finance operations

• Candidate with experience with education funding schemes and grant administration would be preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or student management systems).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
