Salary: $2,000 – $2,300 per month

Responsibilities:

• Assist in loading and unloading fragile goods onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are handled with care and delivered safely to customers.
• Complete deliveries according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
• Contact customers upon arrival to confirm delivery.
• Ensure all delivery orders (D.O.) are properly signed and documented.

Requirements:

• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules.
• A team player with good communication skills.
• Able to operate a pallet jack to load and move goods.

Job Scope:
• Drive a 13-seater or 22-seater shuttle service to bring visitors around the premises
• Directing the visitors in the queue to board the buggy, and check to ensure that all passengers have bought their tickets

• Plan and execute monthly purchase forecasts for assigned brands
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations
• Coordinate and arrange both local and overseas deliveries to ensure timely shipments
• Prepare and process purchase orders and shipping documentation
• Negotiate freight rates and manage freight bookings
• Collaborate with internal Sales and Technical teams to meet inventory requirements
• Communicate with overseas suppliers (especially in China) to ensure product availability and quality control
• Liaise with freight forwarders and local transporters for smooth delivery operations
• Prepare product costing and maintain up-to-date pricelists
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Department Head

What you’ll be doing

• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimise stock shortages and surpluses
• Oversee the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures
• Assist in performing deliveries when required
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address any logistical issues or concerns
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics-related activities, including shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the logistics operations
• Provide training and support to the logistics team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or warehousing industry
• Class 3 Driver license and Forklift license required
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, warehousing practices, and transportation logistics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Experience in supervising and leading a team, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop staff
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
• Proficient in using logistics management software and other relevant technology
