  • Senior / Staff Nurse

    We are looking for a scrub nurse in our Major Surgery Suite. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the peri-operative patient care in order to achieve optimum patient outcomes for surgical patients.
    • To participate in the implementation of clinical practices and standards including utilisation of new technologies, regular clinical nursing audits to ensure high quality standards of peri-operative care being rendered to the patients.
    • To demonstrate good and competent clinical skills, knowledge and critical thinking in the delivery of quality operating room nursing skills.
    • To be a team player as part of the MSS team to deliver a high and safe standard peri-operative patient care providing supervision and support where appropriate.
    • To participate in the care and maintenance of specialised equipment, ensuring an agreed standard of decontamination or disinfection at all times including accurate record for traceability of all equipment.
    • To actively be involved in committee/s at departmental or hospital level when nominated to represent on term or ad hoc basis.
    • To participate in the orientation, training and education of junior and newly recruited nurses for continuous professional development and maintaining their level of competencies.

    Requirements

    • Diploma of Nursing or Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
    • Singapore Nursing Board Practicing Certificate for Registered Nurses.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Operating Room (OR).
    • Advanced Diploma or post-basic qualifications in Peri-operative Nursing or equivalent would be an advantage.

  • Arborist/Horticulturist

    Location: Mandai Estate, North Region

    Job Description/ Responsibility

    • Project Management Duties
    • Monitor site operation and supervises ground workers and assist maintenance crew in horticultural tasks
    • Plan the work programme and continually assess, meeting with Client’s representatives or appointed Consultant, review and improve on performance including the conduct of risk assessment and management
    • Conduct regular inspection to make sure to meet the Service Level Agreement
    • Handle the administration of all works in the Contract including receiving and responding to the Client/ his representatives or appointed Consultant’s directions issued
    • Liaise with clients on enquiries, feedbacks and complaints

    Job Description

    Perform routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids and tissues to provide accurate data for optimal diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of disease states.

    • Perform routine laboratory test procedures as outlined in the established SOPs and according to MOH regulations, ISO and CAP accreditation. Adhere to quality assurance and quality control procedures in performing all testing.
    • Correlate clinical information and/or previous lab results and reports discrepancies to HOD.
    • Participate in developmental work on new tests
    • Participate in established TQM activities, QC testing of lab reagents and maintenance of equipment. Follow protocol for running and documenting control values.
    • Maintain open communication with HOD and other team members to ensure optimal operation and follow-up. Communicate pertinent information to other team members in a clinically relevant time frame to enhance the lab’s contribution to patient care

    Job requirements:

    • At least Diploma in Biomedical Science or relevant course of study
    • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or commercial lab environment (Candidates with more years of relevant work experience will be considered as Senior Medical Technologist)
    • Able to commit to a 5.5 days (Mon-Sat) & flexible to different staggered shift schedules
    • Computer literate, basic knowledge & skills in ULTRA will be an added advantage
    • Knowledge in operating an HPLC instrument and LCMS will be an added advantage.
  • Clinical Service Associate

    Broad Function:

    • Work closely with the Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Therapy Assistant in the provision of customer-focused and efficient service to the Rehabilitation Department patients
    • Perform patient registration, appointment scheduling, transportation booking, billing, and cash collection
    • Provide prompt and professional services to customers
    • Collect and monitor feedback for the Rehabilitation Department
    • Churn out statistics and prepare reports

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    Administration & Personnel

    • Perform daily Rehab patients’ registration, transportation booking, appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and transport scheduling
    • Perform daily ILTC claim and update daily DRC / Rehabilitation services statistics
    • Attend the Monthly Departmental meeting
    • Replenishing the Rehab Department (SUMC and SWMC DRC) inventory when stock is low
    • Ad hoc job that is assigned by the reporting officer
    • To work on ad hoc weekends during events to facilitate the department’s operations
    • To assist with ferrying clients from the transportation drop-off point to the centre

    Financial

    • Effectively handles all transactions, payments and ensures proper documentation.
    • Tally and check end of day collection and supporting documents.
    • Ensure all claims are organized and in order

    • Attend to any group feedback when needed

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum GCE N or O levels
    • Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in healthcare or relevant sectors
    • Preferably with ILTC setting experience (centre-based care)

    • Serve as Assistant Secretariat for Medical Records Committee (MRC) and related sub-committees, managing quarterly meetings and clinical audits
    • Support in managing requests for system access, audits, training and notifications to access the EMR system, engaging management for review.
    • Manage EMR system access requests, audit triggers, and notifications.
    • Provide administrative and secretariat support for informatics workgroups and EMR-related initiatives, including drafting materials, minutes, and following up on action item
