Materials Handler

Location: Tuas, West Region

Job Type: Full time

Salary: $1,845 – $2,500 per month

To manage Incoming Receiving Process to ensure all goods are received on time and store in correct warehouse locations as per regulatory requirements.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving and issuing of chemicals to repacking.

·       Perform Goods Receipt, inventory count and stock take to ensure inventory accuracy.

·       Perform as attendant to support customer deliveries

·       Member of the Emergency Response Team

·       Ensure loading and unloading of containers on time to reduce demurrage charges.

·       Receiving and storing of Cold room products on time to ensure quality compliance

·       Inspection of all incoming materials to ensure the goods meet the Inbound checklist requirements.

·       Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisors.

Experience, Qualification and other information

·       Minimum of Secondary education

·       2 to 3 years of warehouse working experience

·       Possess a valid forklift license

·       Ability to speak and write basic English for work purposes

·       Able to work in a chemical warehouse environment.

·       Must be able to differentiate colour for work purposes

·       This role requires candidates to be able to perform physical tasks such as [e.g., lifting up to 15kg, standing for extended periods, or climbing stairs/ladders]
